Richard Henry Jones is listed at the firm of Cooper & Jones, a painting contractor, in the Jacksonville City Directory.  In the same directory, the Caleb J Abbott and three of his children (including Charlotte) are teaching a the Ladies Colegiate Seminary on the corner of Duval and Laura Streets.
